Our Land Rover Defender Audison active subwoofer kit is designed to add proper low-end bass without taking over the load space or needing a large custom boot install.

Using the Audison Prima APBX 10 AS2 active subwoofer, this kit combines a compact 10-inch subwoofer enclosure with a built-in 400W RMS Class D amplifier. The result is strong, controlled bass in a space-saving package that works perfectly as part of a Defender audio upgrade.

The APBX 10 AS2 is ideal for factory audio upgrades or aftermarket head unit installations, with both high-level speaker inputs and low-level RCA inputs. This allows it to integrate neatly with standard systems, upgraded speakers, DSP setups, or complete audio builds.

The enclosure has a clever 2-way mounting design, allowing it to be installed either down-firing for deeper low-frequency response or up-firing for a punchier sound. It also features Audison’s quick-release Sub Smart Plug, making it easy to disconnect and remove the subwoofer whenever extra space is required.
