Choose the right Defender remapping service
Start with your engine and how you want the work carried out. We tailor the calibration to your vehicle, supporting hardware and requirements.
- TD5 remapping and ECU services: standard remap £300 + VAT (£360 including VAT). MSB OBD upgrades and dual mapping have separate prices.
- Puma 2.2 remapping and Puma 2.4 remapping: £500 + VAT (£600 including VAT) for mapping only. Intercooler, filter and fitting labour are additional.
- Puma remote remapping with Powergate 4: £700 + VAT (£840 including VAT), comprising £500 remapping and £200 for the tool bought with a map.
Workshop, postal ECU or remote?
Bring the vehicle to our workshop for on-site work. For postal ECU work, send us your ECU label and requirements before posting it so we can confirm the work, cost and return postage. For remote TD5 work, see Just Map It or our Nanocom service. A standard MSB ECU may need preparation before remote flashing.
Stage descriptions and output figures below relate to different vehicle specifications; they are not guaranteed results or an indication that parts are included in a mapping-only price. Confirm the exact package and any hardware quotation before ordering. Turnaround is confirmed when booking.

DIESEL Land Rover Defender 2.2 Remap
Stage 1
Stage 2
Stage 2 mapping is £500 + VAT (£600 including VAT). An upgraded intercooler and suitable air filter may be required for the intended specification; the parts and their fitting labour are additional. Confirm the hardware fitted before ordering mapping.
Tell us if your Puma 2.2 has jerky throttle response. We can assess the vehicle and discuss a calibration suited to its condition and your requirements. Existing faults need assessment before tuning; a remap is not a repair for an underlying mechanical or electrical problem.
DIESEL Land Rover Defender 2.4 Remap
Stage 1
Stage 2
Stage 2 mapping is £500 + VAT (£600 including VAT). Intercooler, air filter and their fitting labour are additional. If you want a complete fitted upgrade, ask us to confirm the parts, total price and booking separately.
Stage 3
Higher-output setups need suitable supporting hardware, which may include an intercooler, air filter and turbocharger. Discuss the vehicle specification and a separate parts-and-fitting quotation before ordering. Mapping-only prices do not include those components or labour.

DIESEL Land Rover Defender 2.5 TD5 Remap
Stage 1
Stage 2
TD5 tuning for an upgraded vehicle must match the hardware fitted. An intercooler and suitable air filter may be recommended; those parts and fitting are additional unless expressly included in an agreed package. Check the current TD5 service options and prices.

Stage 3
For a TD5 with a hybrid turbo or other substantial changes, contact us with the full specification before ordering. The TD5 hybrid turbo package has its own contents and price; do not assume all supporting parts or fitting are included. We will confirm additional requirements for your vehicle.
