TD5 Exhaust Manifold Extended Stud Kit

TD5 exhaust manifolds are known to warp with time and continued head cycles, where the aluminium head and steel manifold expand at different rates. This strain between the two commonly snaps the exhaust studs in the cylinder head, causing leaks plus awkward and sometimes costly repairs. These extended high-grade studs and stainless steel spacers help alleviate this problem as the additional length in the studs can more readily take the strain.

Manifold nuts should be torqued evenly to 25nm (18lbf.ft).
